Easy 3 Ingredient All Natural Face Masks

These are three of my ultimate favorite face masks that will help combat any of your skin issues from scarring, to inflammation, dry skin, black heads or hormonal break outs. One of these are bound to suit you. Give them a try! They are super easy + each only 3 ingredients. Most of which you probably already have on hand!

Nourishing Honey Mask

Ingredients:

2 tbsp raw organic honey

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp lemon juice

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Wash your face with warm water. Rub the mask on your face in gentle circles using the cinnamon as a soft exfoliant. Leave on for 15-20 minutes then rinse off with warm water.

Why it works:

This is the ultimate moisturizing face mask that leaves your skin feeling fresh and silk smooth. Honey contains antibacterial properties that will help to fight against acne, and is high in antioxidants that is great for slowing down signs of aging. It is very soothing and moisturizing and will help to reduce any swelling or redness. While the cinnamon is a very gentle exfoliant scrubbing the layers of dead skin and also helps to even the skin tone and reduce scarring from previous breakouts. The lemon juice also kills bacteria and contains lots of vitamin C to rejuvenate your skin.

Detoxifying Clay Mask

Ingredients:

1 tbsp bentonite clay

1 tbsp organic apple cider vinegar

1/2 tsp activated charcoal

Directions:

Mix ingredients together using a non metal bowl and non metal utensils until it forms a paste. Apply the paste evenly across your face and let it sit and dry (about 20-30 mins). If you have sensitive skin, don’t leave it on as long. Wash off with warm water and apply facial serum or moisturizer afterwards.

Why it works:

This simple detox mask is one of my favorites, especially around that time of month. When mixed with liquid, bentonite clay contains a strong negative charge that allows it to bond to things containing a positive charge. Such as dirt or bacteria living on your skin. In combination with activated charcoal which also has the ability to pull out and remove any toxins clogging your pores. Apple cider vinegar steps it up even another notch by adding antiseptic and antibacterial properties ensuring you have fresh and lean skin to prevent any future breakouts.

Gentle Exfoliating Mask

Ingredients:

2 tbsp baking soda

1 tsp lemon juice

1-3 drops tea tree oil

Directions:

In a small bowl, mix all of the ingredients together. The reaction of baking soda and lemon will cause a fizz, just keep stirring until you get a thin face. Apply this directly to your clean face by rubbing in gentle circles. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes then rinse off with warm water and apply a facial serum or moisturizer.

Why it works:

Baking soda has tiny granules that help to make this a great exfoliant to scrub off the outer layers of dead skin, but it’s gentle enough for all skin types. It helps to reduce the chances of future breakouts as it balances the pH and makes your skin tone even. The lemon juice works to kill bacteria and is able to keep your face fresh and glowing thanks to its high levels of vitamin C. The tea tree oil is an extra addition for anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties for people with problem skin that will cleanse and prevent future acne.

Nourish your skin with these three amazing face masks!

I love ALL of them. I usually like to rotate which ones I use and do them 1-2x per week. Sit back and relax with your face mask on, light some incense and candles and give your skin some love!

Try them out and let me know which one is your favorite!
