3 Ingredient Face Mask to Fight Breakouts

Looking for a simple, all natural face mask to help reduce breakouts? Or just to help with dark spots and scarring? This 3 ingredient recipe is as easy as it gets!



Raw honey is has amazing antibacterial properties and is great for reducing breakouts. This face mask seriously works wonders!! I love using it. It’s perfect for those pesky breakouts you get on your chin and especially around your time of the month. I saw results from using this just one time. It is something I try to do 2-3 times per week.




Honey moisturizes, cleanses pores, reduces breakouts, and calms redness and inflammation. It has lots of yummy enzymes and probiotics that are great for the skin.


The lemon juice is rich in vitamin C so it acts as a toner to reduce any dark spots or scars from previous breakouts. It’s able to lighten & brighten your skin naturally.


Cinnamon works as an exfoliant to remove dead skin cells. Its anti-fungal and antiseptic properties help to fight acne and heal wounds. It also regulates oil production in the skin.

Sounds amazing, right? It is! So easy, few ingredients and totally all natural and non toxic which is essential :) The combination does cause a bit of tingling or burning after a while - it’s totally normal. If you want to test it out or have super sensitive skin, just use a bit less lemon juice and play around with the recipe. You can’t go wrong!


Here’s how to make it!


Ingredients:

2 tablespoons organic raw honey

1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon cinnamon powder


Directions:

-Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.

-Wash face with warm water to open up pores.

-Rub the mixture on your dry face in circular motions.

-Leave on for 15-20 minutes then wash off with warm water

-Apply 2-3 times per/week.


Light some candles, put on your face mask, take a bath, read a book, unwind & take some time out of your day for self love. Just 20 minutes will make a world of a difference. You deserve it <3
